Triangle Ultimate is hosting DISCover Ultimate Day, a nationwide event presented by USA Ultimate! This free, two-hour clinic is designed specifically for middle school to high school-aged players (ages 11-18) who are new to the sport. This event is free but registration on website is required. DISCover Ultimate will take place at two locations, both on September 19, 2026. Cary 9:30 to 11 a.m. Cary Mills Park, behind elementary school 509 Mills Park Drive, Cary, North Carolina Durham 10 a..m. to 12 p.m. Piney Wood Park 400 E Woodcroft Parkway, Durham, North Carolina Donations to the Level the Playing Field Initiative are optional. Level the Playing Field provides opportunity and access to play, regardless of means. Participants will learn the basics of ultimate in a fun, active, and welcoming environment. DISCover Ultimate Day features: Introduction to Ultimate: Learn what makes ultimate unique, from how it’s played to why people love it. Basic Skills & Drills: Get hands-on experience with throwing, catching, and team movement. Games & Activities: Have fun with beginner-friendly disc games that help build confidence and coordination.
