This exhibition features work from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro’s MFA in Studio Arts 2026 graduate cohort. The title of the show is an homage to the Gatewood Studio Art Building’s vending machine, which kept us fueled with apple juice, Bugles, Honey Buns, and other nutritionally-suspect treasures during long studio days. Our past two years in the studio have led to enormous growth in our disparate practices, through media exploration, conceptual iteration, and craft refinement. So, the vending machine is also an apt metaphor for this show: here, you will encounter small tastes of work from the members of our cohort, each offering something uniquely satisfying (and for sale).
