North Carolina has a tattoo history richer than most people realize. Join Welcome Tattoo for an evening exploring over 100 years of tattooing in North Carolina through the stories of the artists, shops, and personalities who helped shape it. Tattoo historian C.W. Eldridge, founder of the Tattoo Archive, presents "Tattooing in North Carolina," followed by a screening of "The Legendary Tattoo Joe," a 25-minute film presented by John Brehm of Yellow Rose Tattoo Club celebrating the life of Tattoo Joe — sideshow performer, musician, and pioneering North Carolina tattoo artist. Featuring pop-up shops from the BookMistress and the Tattoo Archive. Doors at 5:00 PM; presentations at 7:00 PM. Tickets $15; all proceeds donated to Freedom German Shepherd Rescue.
