<p>How do fossil hunters identify an animal from just a fragment of skull or a tooth? What can the bones of a skull tell us about how an animal lived? Join paleontologists from the <a href="https://lemur.duke.edu/discover/dlcmnh/">Duke Lemur Center Museum of Natural History</a> to learn how to identify a variety of animals based on their skulls and test your skills with a variety of osteology and fossil specimens!</p> <p><strong>This program is a drop-in program,</strong> drop by anytime between 11am and 1pm to the Innovation Lab on third floor of Main Library (300 N. Roxboro St., Durham, NC 27701). This program is&nbsp;geared towards ages 8 and up, all ages welcome. (Ages 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult.)</p> <p><em><strong>Note: If you have any accessibility questions or accommodation needs, please contact us at Maker_STEAM@dconc.gov. We ask that all requests be made at least 3 business days prior to the event to ensure we can provide the best accommodations possible!</strong></em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
