Join We Are and Book Harvest for the inaugural Ruby Bridges Literary Day, a community gathering to honor the legacy of Ruby Bridges and the ongoing importance of creating literacy rich, culturally affirming learning spaces for children. Welcome Kwame Mbalia, creator of the Tristan Strong trilogy and the Jax Freeman series, for a special author reading and book signing. Celebrate the power of stories to reflect, inspire, and expand what children believe is possible for themselves. The first 30 families to arrive will harvest a copy of one of Kwame Mbalia's works to take home.
