Queer & Trans Splash is an Open Swim for Durham's LGBTQ+ community, and it's exactly as simple as it sounds. Two pools, a slide, a diving board, and four hours. Swim laps, take the slide, or sit on the edge with your feet in the water and catch up with people you don't see often enough. Drop in for an hour or stay for all four. All ages, and that means all ages. Queer and trans kids and teens are welcome here, and so are the grown-ups who love them. Come in whatever you're comfortable swimming in. We have all-gender, single-use restrooms, including one with a shower, along with our locker rooms. It's free, and you don't have to be a member to swim with us. Bring the people you'd love to have a pool day with!
