There will be a dog bandana tie-dye station, a flower crown making station and more barks and crafts to get everyone in the festive spirit. To commemorate the day be sure to stop by the photo station presented by our friends at Assorted Poppies Photo! Pups will get the chance to strut their stuff and show off their favorite costume during the costume contest! There will be four contest categories that pooches and their people can participate in, including the individual category, group category, best festival fit category, and the dog/owner lookalike contest. The best costumes in each category will win a prize! And for our human visitors we will have a lineup of delicious food trucks to help take a bite out of their hunger, a beer tent hosted by the Durham Parks Foundation, a Pup-Up Market with plenty of dog-friendly vendors, and if you're looking to grow your furry family there will be organizations with adoptable dogs on site! There will also be a live music performance by Miss Mini & the Sandman Band, a very talented group of singers and musicians who have just one goal in mind…making you dance! In business since 2015, there is well over a century and a half of musical talent that makes up this high energy band. They play covers of the best in Motown, Top 40, R&B, Beach Music, Southern Soul, Blues, as well asl their own original tunes. Dogs and their humans will absolutely dig Pupalooza!
