Before you go
- Pair a trip to the nearby Boulder Garden climbing gym with Durham Central Park so your kids can burn off their remaining energy on the grass.
- If you attend the Food Truck Rodeo, check the park's calendar beforehand to confirm the date and verify which kids' activities are scheduled.
- When visiting the Saturday morning farmers market, bring cash and a wagon so you can easily grab pastries and let the kids play on the lawn.
- For the Children's Independence Day Parade, check the park's calendar ahead of time as the exact date shifts between the weekend and the holiday.
