Grab your notebook and a pen, and let's write! The Page & Pen Writing Workshop meets roughly every six weeks and is open to anyone who wants to improve their creative writing skills. Session formats vary and may include writing exercises, discussion about technique and process, sharing ideas for organizing work sessions and workspaces, or exploration of any challenges you may be facing in the struggle to write. This session: Writing Prompts Extravaganza! This will be a modified reprise of the three sessions we did during summer of 2025. Prompt exercises will include a Story Card Deck, a Mix and Match scenario, and various poetry prompts. We'll also open up the floor to the group, so if you have any favorite writing prompt exercises, feel free to bring them along. This program is open to anyone at any time: drop in once, attend every session, or show up every once in a while -- no long-term commitment is required.
