One Walk to Rule Them All Exercise Challenge
Community

The One Walk to Rule Them All Exercise Challenge is a self-paced, fantasy-themed fitness initiative hosted by the Durham County Library system. To participate, families can pick up a physical tracking sheet at either the South Regional Library on Alston Avenue or the North Regional Library on Milton Road. Participants have until the end of November to complete four out of five activity challenges, tracking their movement in minutes. This program is entirely free and open to all ages, making it a highly flexible option for toddlers, teens, and parents alike. You can log any type of physical activity, from backyard tag to stroller walks at local parks. Once a milestone is reached, bring the tracker back to either library branch to collect a themed button. Both library locations offer free, easily accessible parking lots and public restrooms. This is an excellent weekend activity because it turns routine physical play into a game. You can grab your tracking sheet during your regular Saturday library run, then head straight to a nearby trail to start logging your first minutes toward the first reward.
