One Walk to Rule Them All Exercise Challenge
Community

The One Walk to Rule Them All Exercise Challenge is a self-paced, fantasy-themed fitness initiative hosted by the Durham County Library system. To participate, you can pick up a physical tracking sheet at either the South Regional or North Regional library branches, or request a digital copy online. Participants have until the end of November to complete four out of five activity challenges, tracking their active minutes through any type of movement they prefer. This program is entirely free and open to all ages, making it an easy way to encourage kids to stay active as the weather cools down. You can park for free at either library branch to grab your tracker and eventually collect your reward buttons. Since you can log any type of exercise, you can easily count your weekend family bike rides, playground time, or backyard games toward the goal. This is an excellent weekend pick because it turns routine physical activity into a game. It gives kids a tangible goal to work toward over the next few months, with the added bonus of visiting the library to collect their hard-earned buttons.
