Experience live music inspired by art through Notes on View, a pop-up performance series at the NC Museum of Art. These 40-minute concerts invite visitors to experience the galleries in a new way, with performances that respond to and resonate with works on display. This performance features Salomé Sandoval, a North Carolina–based vocalist and instrumentalist whose repertoire spans medieval, Renaissance, baroque, and modern music. Accompanying herself on lute and guitar, Sandoval creates immersive, multidisciplinary performances that blend music with visual art, dance, and storytelling, offering a unique artistic experience within the museum galleries.
