Start each month off right by moving your body and engaging your mind! Join us for a Tai Chi lesson with Ling, a Tai Chi instructor for Bodihavtte Nature Foundation on Monday at 10am. This program is intended for adults but all are welcome!Registration requested.
Mindful Tai Chi is a guided, slow-movement exercise class designed to help participants improve balance, reduce stress, and connect with their bodies. If you plan to attend, head to the Green Road Community Library in Raleigh for the 10:00 AM session. The class is entirely free, but the library requests that you register online beforehand to secure your spot. Wear comfortable, loose clothing and flat shoes, and bring a water bottle for after the session. Parking is free and convenient in the main library lot. This class offers a rare, quiet hour to focus on your own physical wellness before the busy week takes over. It is an ideal opportunity to slip away for some self-care while your partner or a grandparent watches the kids, or to bring a sleeping infant along in a carrier while you stretch.
Do I need to pay or register for the Tai Chi class?
The class is completely free to attend, but the library asks that you register on their website in advance so they can track attendance.
Can I bring my children to this library event?
The program is designed for adults, but the library welcomes all ages. It is best suited for parents who can participate while a baby rests in a stroller, or older teens who want to learn the movements.
