Harp in the Dark: a quiet, blanket-friendly candlelit hour of improvised electric harp music by Kelly Reidy (@kellyreidyharp), featuring full permission to rest. This event is BYOC (bring your own cocoon!), meaning: chairs are provided, but you’re encouraged to bring a yoga mat, blanket, and any other cozy props that will help you get maximally comfy on the floor. Harp in the Dark is time/space for rest, breathing, snoozing, and listening (or not listening). No participation required! When you arrive, Kelly will offer some suggestions for how to settle into low gear as you set up your rest zone. Next up, the main event: relaxing electric harp music! Nap, space out, stretch, journal or read (bring a small book light!), or whatever feels right; just keep it quiet and relatively low-light. Lastly, when it’s time to go, you’ll have a chance to ease gradually into the rest of your evening, feeling like a kitten in a moonbeam! Reserve your spot in advance by purchasing a $10 ticket; if there’s room, walk-up admission will be available for a suggested donation of $10.
