Join us for a relaxed and fun workshop where we'll talk all things summer annuals and how to grow armloads of blooms in our long, hot North Carolina summers. We'll cover some of the most beautiful and productive flowers that thrive in our area's high temperatures. You'll learn when to start seeds, when to plant, how to keep flowers blooming all season, and the best harvesting techniques for beautiful, long-lasting bouquets. We'll also get creative with a hands-on bouquet-making activity using fresh summer annual flowers provided during the workshop. Plus, everyone will take home free seed packs so you can put what you've learned into practice and start your own flower garden. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or have never started a seed before, this workshop is a great opportunity to learn, play with flowers, and leave inspired to grow your own blooms all summer long.
