FlushFest is a homemade music and film festival in West Hillsborough, NC, started in 2017 by neighbors to raise funds for Grace Beeler's documentary about an innovative sewer system in Brazil.These days, Flushfest has grown into an annual tradition and one of the largest music festivals in Hillsborough. It provides vital support to the Appropriate Sanitation Institute, which promotes "condominial sewerage" technology and works to share that knowledge globally.FlushFest admission is by donation and features music, silent film, dance, and community.
