This FREE event takes place from 6 to 8 p.m., at Gipson Play Plaza at Dorothea Dix Park, 715 Biggs Drive, Raleigh, NC, on these dates: July 24, 2026: Register August 21, 2026: Register Space is limited and registration is required, at the above links. Grab your dancing shoes and join us for a lively night of Dancing at Dix! Unwind with music, movement, and great company as you learn fun square dances and easy partner dances—no experience needed. The evening features square dancing led by Christopher Schlitter of Hexcellent Squares (Raleigh, NC). Whether you come with friends or meet new people, it’s all about laughing, learning, and having a great time. Light refreshments will be provided to keep your energy up while you twirl and spin the night away. Square dancing attire is encouraged—cowboy hats and boots are fun, but not required!
