Looking for a fun way to unwind and meet other adults? Join us for a scented candle making program where you can relax, socialize and create a candle to take home. We're splitting the group into 2 sessions – this one at 1 p.m. and another at 2 p.m. There will be a jar-prepping/label-making station and a wax-pouring station.All supplies provided.Registration requested.Ages 16+
Candle Making is a hands-on crafting workshop where participants design custom labels and pour their own scented wax creations to take home. This free session is designed for ages 16 and older, making it a perfect afternoon outing with your teenager or a solo escape to meet other local parents. The library provides all necessary supplies, including the jars, wax, and scents. Because space is limited, you will need to register online ahead of time for the 1:00 PM slot. Parking at the Green Road branch is free and convenient right in front of the building. It is a low-stress way to carve out some creative time over the weekend without having to buy expensive crafting supplies or clean up the mess at your own kitchen table.
