Alzheimer's Association Dementia and Caregiving Education Programs Join the Alzheimer's Association - Eastern North Carolina Chapter and Durham County Library for a year of informative programs designed to support and educate caregivers helping to provide them with the tools they need to successfully provide compassionate care for individuals living with dementia and themselves. Please feel free to bring your lunch and covered beverage to enjoy during the programs. The programs are in room 3214 located on the third floor from 12 pm-1 pm at the Main Library located at 300 North Roxboro Street. Seating is limited and registration is appreciated, however feel free to drop in and seats should be available. Programs are free and will last about an hour. Choose to attend the programs most helpful to you! You do not need a Durham County Library card to register and attend the programs. Parking is available in the library parking lot or at the North Queen Street Garage which is located at 115 North Queen Street which is directly across the street from the library behind the apartments. Parking is free in the garage. Please bring your parking ticket to a service point for validation. March 20 - Understanding Alzheimer's and Dementia Learn the difference between Alzheimer's and dementia, causes, risk factors, stages, and treatments. April 17 - Building Foundations of Car
