NEW for 2026! This weekly meet-up is open to students who know the basics of using a sewing machine and want to practice, learn new skills, and meet other kids who like to sew. In this class students can learn new skills from a featured project presented each month. If you miss a week or can't start on the first meet-up of the month, no problem! These projects are designed to be completed within 3 - 4 weeks. Note: You must register for at least 3 sessions per month in order for your student to have enough time to complete the project. September Project: Zipper Pouch. Supplies Needed: (Supplies purchased at Craft Habit receive a 10% discount!) 2 -100% cotton or cotton blend non-stretch woven fat quarters (18" x 21" single piece of fabric) 1 - 9" or longer zipper This class is for students 7 -11. Class Requirements Students should have previously taken our 2-part class Youth Sewing Level 1: Intro To Sewing Machines, one of our Youth Sewing Camps or have equivalent experience with using sewing machines.
