Write Types is a writing critique group for works of all genres. Each meeting, we will discuss the craft of writing and review each other's works. To submit an item for critique, email dpeterson@dconc.gov by Sept 17. Registered attendees will receive works to review on Sept 18. Write Types is a collaborative writing critique group where local authors share their work and discuss the mechanics of storytelling. The group meets in the adult programming space to review submissions across all literary genres, helping participants refine their drafts through peer feedback. If you want your own writing reviewed, you must submit your work to the organizer by September 17, as registered attendees receive the reading materials on September 18. The event is free to attend, and parking is available in the library's main lot. This program is designed for adults and older teens who are serious about the craft of writing. This is an excellent weekend pick if you need a quiet break to focus on your creative goals. It is a productive way to find community with other Triangle writers and get professional, constructive eyes on your current manuscript.
