Wizarding World at TreeRunner is a themed nighttime climbing event where the aerial ropes courses and ziplines are decorated with magical lights and music. What to Know: Tickets cost $35 per climber, and you should reserve your spot online in advance because weekend night climbs regularly sell out. The park is located off Norwood Road in North Raleigh, with free on-site gravel parking. While the park has trails for younger children, the night climb is best suited for kids ages seven and up who can reach the safety harnesses and navigate the obstacles in the dark. Bring well-fitting athletic shoes and gardening gloves to protect your hands on the ropes. This event makes a great weekend pick because it gets kids outdoors and moving on a cool autumn evening, offering a different perspective on the course than the standard daytime climbs.
