Wizarding World at TreeRunner is a themed nighttime aerial adventure where climbers navigate ropes courses and zip lines decorated with magical decor and lights. Located off Norwood Road in North Raleigh, this special event transforms the standard forest climb into a themed evening complete with themed music playing throughout the canopy. Tickets cost $35 per climber, and you should reserve your start time online in advance to secure harness gear. The course is best suited for children ages seven and older, as navigating the obstacles in the dark requires a bit more coordination and confidence than daytime climbing. Wear closed-toe athletic shoes, bring well-fitting gardening gloves to protect your hands on the cables, and arrive fifteen minutes early to complete the safety briefing. This event makes an excellent weekend outing because it offers active, outdoor entertainment that appeals directly to hard-to-please middle schoolers and teenagers.
