The WFP Urban Walk is a casual, 1.5-mile community walk through downtown Wake Forest organized by Wake Forest Pride. This evening stroll is free to attend and open to all ages, making it easy to push a stroller along the route. The group meets at Freddy's Bottle Shop, where you can find street parking nearby or use the public lots in the downtown historic district. Be sure to bring water bottles for the kids and wear comfortable walking shoes for the paved route. It is a simple, low-pressure way to spend a Thursday evening outdoors, get the kids moving before bedtime, and connect with welcoming members of the local community.
