We Are Stars | Planetarium Show

We Are Stars is an educational dome show at the Morehead Planetarium that explores the origins of the universe and how cosmic chemistry connects to life on Earth. The presentation tracks the journey of atoms from the Big Bang to the formation of the molecules that make up our bodies. This event is best suited for children ages eight and older due to the scientific concepts presented. Plan to arrive at least fifteen minutes early to secure your seats before the theater doors close. It makes an excellent Saturday afternoon stop because it combines science education with a comfortable, indoor setting. You can easily pair the one-hour show with a walk around the UNC campus or a lunch stop on Franklin Street.
