Walking Club with Bull City Strollers is a weekly community walk through downtown Durham that starts and ends at Crank Arm Brewing Company. Because the route stays within the Bullpen social district, parents can grab a draft beer to go and sip while they stroll. The group spends about forty minutes walking at an easy, conversational pace that accommodates toddlers, strollers, and dogs on leashes. This event is entirely free to join, though you will need to pay for your own drinks. Street parking is available around the brewery, but spots fill quickly on Thursday evenings, so plan to arrive ten minutes early to secure a space. Bring a sturdy stroller that can handle city sidewalks and curbs, and pack a water bottle for the kids. It is a low-pressure way to get some fresh air, meet other local parents, and transition into the weekend.
