Vets To Vets United, Inc. Veteran Service Dog Team Graduation Ceremony

Join Vets to Vets United, Inc. to celebrate and honor our newest class of graduating veteran and service dog teams! This inspiring graduation ceremony marks the culmination of two years of intensive, specialized training completed by local disabled veterans and their rescue service dogs. Vets to Vets United is a local non-profit that pairs rescue dogs facing euthanasia with veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), and other physical or emotional disabilities. Together, these teams train side-by-side to achieve official service certification—transforming the lives of both the veterans and the animals. The ceremony will include the official capping and vesting of the service dogs and stories of mutual healing and perseverance. The event is free, family-friendly, and open to the entire community. A complimentary reception with light refreshments will immediately follow the ceremony. This celebration is made possible through the generous support of our community partners, including the Hilton Durham Near Duke University.Come out to support our local heroes and their life-changing service dogs!
