In this hands on beginner to intermediate class, you’ll learn how to confidently use one of the most versatile tools in the shop: the trim router. We’ll cover the essentials of choosing the right router bit, setting up your tool, adjusting depth, and operating the router safely and efficiently. You’ll also learn what a trim router can and can’t do, so you can use it with confidence on future projects. Then it’s time to make some sawdust! You’ll work with a variety of router bits to create profile cuts, decorative edges, and trim details. By the end of the class, you’ll have the skills to add professional looking details and beautiful finishing touches to your own woodworking projects. No prior router experience is required, just bring your curiosity and a willingness to get hands on!
