The Raleigh Uke Jam is a music gathering open to all, both beginning and experienced ukulele players. The group meets on the first and third Thursday of every month, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Estill House at the Church of the Nativity, 8849 Ray Road, in North Raleigh. They have compiled songbooks of both classic and popular ukulele songs, but feel free to bring along copies of songs that you'd like to play with the group. Please bring at least 12 copies, and be prepared to lead the songs. Other than songs you'd like to play, you just need to bring your ukulele, and a music stand if you have one. The Raleigh Uke Jam is one of Raleigh's most charming musical gatherings. Twice a month, ukulele players of all skill levels come together to jam and share songs. Complete beginners are absolutely welcome, and experienced players love helping newcomers.

The group meets at the Estill House at the Church of the Nativity, a lovely intimate setting perfect for acoustic community music making.

What to Know: First and third Thursdays, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Estill House, Church of the Nativity, 8849 Ray Road, Raleigh. Free or low-cost. Bring your ukulele. All skill levels genuinely welcome. A delightful, unique community music experience.
