Raise your hand if you're ready for fall weather, spooky season, and the October Bazaar! Join us on Oct 11th and float through a ghost library of magical local makers, get fancy with body art & fairy hair from Sparkle Body Arts, and hoop your heart out on the Commons green! The Bazaar is family friendly, leashed pet friendly & free!
The October Bazaar is an outdoor autumn community market featuring local artisans, crafters, and family activities at the Carrboro Farmers' Market space. If you are heading out, expect a relaxed afternoon where kids can run around on the grassy lawn. Sparkle Body Arts will be on-site offering fairy hair and temporary body art, which is always a hit with the elementary school crowd. Admission is free, and leashed dogs are welcome. You can park in the adjacent municipal lots or along nearby side streets, but spaces fill up quickly on pleasant Sunday afternoons. This is an easy, low-pressure Sunday outing where you can support local makers, grab some fresh air, and let the kids burn off some energy before the school week starts.
The bazaar takes place at the Carrboro Farmers' Market on the Town Commons. Free parking is available in the public lots surrounding the town hall and along nearby streets.
Is there an admission fee for the bazaar?
No, entry to the market is completely free, though you will want to bring wallet for food, artisan goods, and activities like fairy hair.
