The October Bazaar is an outdoor autumn community market featuring local artisans, crafters, and family activities at the Carrboro Farmers' Market space. If you are heading out, expect a relaxed afternoon where kids can run around on the grassy lawn. Sparkle Body Arts will be on-site offering fairy hair and temporary body art, which is always a hit with the elementary school crowd. Admission is free, and leashed dogs are welcome. You can park in the adjacent municipal lots or along nearby side streets, but spaces fill up quickly on pleasant Sunday afternoons. This is an easy, low-pressure Sunday outing where you can support local makers, grab some fresh air, and let the kids burn off some energy before the school week starts.
