In this class you'll create a coptic journal with a creative interior that you'll be excited to use later on. We'll prepare the cover boards, folded signatures of a variety of pages, foldouts and pockets, and learn the 1-needle coptic stitch–a binding method that allows the book to lay flat and highlights the exposed stitching. Come enjoy the joy of crafting your own creative coptic journal from scratch!Note: This class leans towards an intermediate level, so some basic experience with binding, hand crafts, or stitching is helpful.
