Participants will learn the art of cyanotype photography, a cameraless process that uses sunlight to create striking blue-and-white prints inspired by the botanical photographs of Anna Atkins. Using plants, natural materials, personal objects, and meaningful text, attendees will create a unique photogram that reflects personal memories, connections to nature, and sources of inspiration. All cyanotype supplies will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring a personal object and a favorite quote, though a limited selection of pressed flowers and preselected text will also be available.
