Come join us in the Children's Programming Room for Storytime with Ms. Chloe. This is a noisy Storytime that will be full of reading, singing, dancing, rhythm sticks, and bubbles! Afterwards we will play with dinosaurs and coloring pages. Geared towards toddlers to Kindergarteners, but all ages are welcome to join in the fun! Children under the age of 10 must be supervised by an adult. For more information, contact: chloebullock@dconc.gov
Storytime with Ms. Chloe is an active, music-filled reading group designed for young children at the Durham County Library. Unlike quiet library sessions, this program encourages kids to move, sing, shake rhythm sticks, and chase bubbles in a lively environment. This free event is tailored for toddlers through kindergarteners, though older and younger siblings are welcome to participate. An adult must stay with all children under ten years old. The library is located downtown, so you will want to plan for parking in the nearby deck or street spots, and you do not need to register in advance. It is an easy, low-stress way to get out of the house on a weekday morning. The combination of structured story time and open-ended play afterward makes it easy to transition your kids from learning to socializing.
