STEAM Lab - Crazy Camouflage! is a free, hands-on science and art workshop for elementary school students at the Duraleigh Road Community Library. Kids will explore how animals blend into their environments through interactive survival games and by building their own hidden creatures. This program is designed specifically for children in third through fifth grade, making it a perfect fit for older elementary students who have outgrown toddler storytimes. The event is entirely free to attend, and the library offers a spacious, paved parking lot with plenty of spots. You do not need to bring any supplies, as all crafting materials are provided on-site. It is an excellent weekend option because it combines active learning with a creative project, keeping kids focused and entertained during the tricky late-afternoon stretch.
