Join us for a formal staged workshop presentation of the last of us, a powerful new original play by playwright and director Katrina C. Tarson. Part warning, part reckoning, the last of us is a modern myth that follows Tilou, a young woman visited by a mysterious Sisterhood bearing urgent truths about her future. This lyrical one-act play addresses urgent modern issues for women, exploring them through a fusion of text, poetry, and stylized movement. This public presentation marks the culmination of an intensive developmental workshop. Because the script is performed text-in-hand, you are invited into the heart of the creative process. Following the reading, we warmly welcome you to share your feedback as we prepare this script for its future life onstage. Recommended for audiences aged 18+.
