Social Stitchers is a drop-in gathering for fiber artists and crafters of all skill levels to work on projects and chat. Located in the Southwest Meeting Room at the Durham library, this informal session is best for teens and adults who already have a project in progress. You need to bring your own knitting needles, crochet hooks, or embroidery floss, though the library does keep a small stash of basic supplies on hand for true beginners. Parking at this branch is easy and free in the main surface lot. This meetup makes a great Friday afternoon escape to carve out some dedicated creative time before the busy weekend rush begins.
