Silent Book Club – Durham Join an evening of literary camaraderie at DSSOLVR’s Durham taproom! Every 1st & 3rd Thursday Monthly, starting @ 6:30 pm, the @SilentBookClub convenes to celebrate the joy of reading with fellow book lovers. $8 cocktails and $6 shots all day long! Read and mingle with new, bookish friends! Bring whatever book you happen to be reading, read in companionable silence (for about an hour), then share about it with your table mates. No need to attend regularly - drop ins welcome any time! Don't want to sit at the table with the group? No problem! bring a book and read alone (but around people) at the bar or another table - the bartenders do it all the time! Schedule: - Meet and chat until 6:30 - 7:00 - Silent reading 7:00 - 8:00 - Chat about reading 8:00 - ??? Forget your book? DSSOLVR has a community bookshelf in their taproom you can grab one from! Have some books you want to get rid of? Leave a few on the community bookshelf for other readers to enjoy!
