Restorative Yoga is a gentle, 50-minute class focused on slow stretching, mindful breathing, and calming the nervous system. Led by local instructor Catherine Gupta, the session is designed to help adults slow down, release physical tension, and quiet a busy mind through simple, supported poses. This class is free and designed specifically for adults of all experience levels, from complete beginners to seasoned yogis. You will need to register in advance because space in the library meeting room is limited, and you must bring your own yoga mat or large towel to use on the floor. The library offers free parking in its main lot, and the building is fully accessible. Friday afternoon is the perfect time to slip away for an hour of quiet self-care before the busy weekend rush begins. It is a rare, cost-free opportunity to recharge your battery so you can head into Saturday feeling refreshed and patient.
