A prism can reveal the extraordinary, serve as a metaphor for transformation or a unique personal perspective. This exhibition showcases the work of 14 talented artists from around the Triangle and beyond. This is their art, from their own “prism” or point of view. These artists, who have a disability, share works that range from portraits and landscapes to abstract pieces. Artists Calvin Brett (Chapel Hill); Sky Dai (Asheville); Caroline Dempsey (Raleigh); Hillary Honig Ensminger (Durham); Annelies Gentile (Raleigh); Alexandre E. Henrique (Cary); Wiley Johnson (Raleigh); Mitzie Jokich (Chapel Hill); Venn Khadyr-Nunn (Raleigh); Tess Kursel (Durham); Anya Litvinova (Cary); Aidan Malsbary (Pittsboro) Tim Smith ( Durham) and Kim Tyler (Durham). Show curated by Makayla Haag. Cost Free Location The free art show will be on view at the Jobe House, 909 W. Morgan Street in Raleigh. The Jobe House is an arts cooperative and co-working space shared by Arts Access NC, VAE Raleigh and Artspace. The house is owned by the Carlyle Adams Foundation. (We are the blue three-story house near Irregardless Cafe) Exhibition Hours & Dates Gallery hours are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. from Aug. 8 to Aug. 28, 2026. Upcoming Events The opening reception is Aug. 8 from 2 to 4 p.m. The public is invited to come meet the artists during this free event. Plan Your Visit Parking: There is off-street parking at the Jobe House.
