The Pop-Up Library at Dix Park is a free, outdoor literacy event where children can listen to stories and browse books in the park. Wake County librarians will be on hand to lead the reading session and help parents sign up for library cards. This event is best suited for toddlers and preschoolers who enjoy interactive reading. It takes place at the Gipson Play Plaza, which offers plenty of space for kids to run around after the stories end.
