• Go early on weekend mornings to beat the crowds, or opt for a weekday morning visit.
• The park is massive and requires a lot of walking, so bring a sturdy stroller if you have toddlers.
• Toss a towel and a change of clothes in your car, as the playground features a water play area.
• Shade is limited and the plaza bakes at midday, so visit early in the summer with hats and plenty of water.
