Paletas!: K-2nd Adventures is a free, hands-on crafting and play program where early elementary students design their own paper popsicles. Children will explore different creative stations to invent flavor combinations and build their crafts in a social, structured library setting. This program is designed specifically for children in kindergarten through second grade. Admission is entirely free, but participation is limited to ensure everyone has enough supplies. You must pick up a physical ticket at the Youth Services Desk starting at 3:30 PM on the day of the event. The library is located in downtown Cary, with free parking available in the adjacent parking deck. It is a smart weekday stop because it bridges the gap between school dismissal and dinner with a structured, creative outlet. Your child gets to practice fine motor skills and socialize with peers while you enjoy a break in a temperature-controlled space.
