A smaller, discussion-based weekday session of the Page & Pen Writing Workshop. This will be one hour of open-format conversation about any aspect of creative writing. Topcs are up to you! Generating ideas, drafting, sketching, outlining, actual writing, editing, polishing, workshopping, submitting, publishing -- any of that. We'll also brainstorm any topics you'd like to see covered in our main Saturday workshop sessions. E-mail Bob with any questions: rskesler@dconc.gov
Page & Pen Writing Roundtable is a free, one-hour informal discussion group for anyone interested in the craft of creative writing. Hosted in the adult programming space, this weekday session offers an open format where you can discuss everything from initial brainstorming and character sketching to editing and publishing. It is a collaborative space to share your progress and help shape the topics for future weekend workshops. What to Know: This event takes place on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. It is free to attend and designed for adults, making it a great fit for parents with children in school or preschool. The library has a dedicated parking lot with plenty of spaces, and you should bring a notebook or laptop if you want to jot down ideas. While we love our weekend family outings, a Tuesday morning event like this is the perfect way to carve out some quiet, productive time for your own creative hobbies while the kids are occupied.
