Open Mic at the End of The Universe is a monthly originals-only showcase at The Cave in Chapel Hill, one of the area's most storied music spots. Hosted by Dan Mac, it's a welcoming stage for songwriters and performers to share their own material in an intimate, supportive setting. Whether you're performing or just coming to listen, it's a great way to soak up local original music. What to Know: This open mic happens every last Thursday of the month at The Cave in Chapel Hill. Signups start at 8 p.m. and the show begins at 9 p.m. It's originals only, so come prepared to share your own work. A $10 donation is encouraged to support the venue and performers. A perfect night out for local music lovers and aspiring performers alike, in a true Chapel Hill institution.
