The One Walk to Rule Them All Exercise Challenge is a self-paced, fantasy-themed fitness initiative hosted by the Durham County Library system. To participate, stop by the South Regional Library on Alston Avenue or the North Regional Library on Milton Road to grab a paper tracking sheet, or request a digital copy online. Children and parents can log any type of movement, from backyard tag to neighborhood bike rides, to complete four out of five challenges on the sheet. Once a milestone is reached, bring the tracker back to either library branch to collect a physical reward button. This program is an excellent way to motivate reluctant walkers and add some playful competition to your weekend strolls. Because you can log minutes doing any activity you choose, it fits easily into busy family schedules without any pressure.
