The NCVAN 14th Annual Know Hope 5K is a community memorial walk and run dedicated to supporting individuals grieving the loss of a loved one. Organized by the North Carolina Victim Assistance Network, this event raises funds to provide grief support services across the state. What to Know: The event takes place at Lake Benson Park in Garner, which offers flat, paved paths perfect for strollers and wagons. Registration is $30 per participant, and there is plenty of free parking on-site. Pack water bottles and snacks for the kids, as the park also features a great playground where children can play after the run. This is a meaningful weekend choice if you want to teach your older children about community support while enjoying a morning of active movement in a beautiful, shaded park.
