What is NC Museum of Natural Sciences Incredible Science? This is a free, thirty-minute live demonstration featuring rotating science experiments inside the museum's daily programming space. What to Know: The program starts at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, making it an ideal outing for toddlers, preschoolers, or homeschool families looking to break up the day. Since the demonstrations change daily, you might see anything from physics principles to chemistry reactions. Admission is entirely free, and you do not need to reserve a ticket in advance. Street parking is metered around Jones Street, or you can use the visitor lot on Wilmington Street. This event makes a great mid-week outing because it is short enough to keep young children focused without causing sensory overload.
