Join us for pretty lettering! Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-be, or just a crafty individual, you’ll be introduced to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink in this workshop. We will cover all the basics and prepare you to add those unique lettered details to your snail mail, wedding paper goods, home decor, and more! The perfect crafty evening! Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper, and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop. At the end of class, we will letter on 3" faux pumpkins.

Modern Calligraphy & Pumpkin Lettering for Beginners is a hands-on workshop where participants learn the fundamentals of pointed pen calligraphy and practice their new skills on seasonal decor. Led by an experienced instructor, the class covers ink flow, pen pressure, and basic letterforms before transitioning to writing on three-inch faux pumpkins. This class is designed for adults and older teens, making it a great option for a solo creative night out or a date with your partner. The $70 registration fee covers ninety minutes of instruction, a complete beginner calligraphy kit to keep, and all your practice materials. D's Bottle Shop offers a relaxed setting with plenty of local craft beers and non-alcoholic options available for purchase, and there is convenient parking right in front of the venue. Taking time for a creative hobby is a wonderful way to recharge after a busy week of parenting. You will leave this session with the confidence to design your own holiday place cards, address envelopes, and decorate your home for autumn.
