The Robert Ann Foundation is proud to announce its 4th Annual Minority Mental Health 5K Walk & Run.This year's theme, "Community," recognizes that healing does not happen in isolation—it happens when people come together to support one another, reduce stigma, and ensure that no one faces mental health challenges alone. The event is free and open to the public and welcomes walkers, runners, families, youth, seniors, veterans, community organizations, healthcare professionals, faith leaders, and advocates to unite for a day of awareness, education, and hope. "Community is one of the greatest protective factors for mental health," said Kimberly McGhee, Founder and Board Chair of the Robert Ann Foundation. "When people feel connected, supported, and seen, they are more likely to seek help, recover, and thrive. This event reminds us that every conversation matters, every life matters, and every person deserves access to care." Held during Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, the annual walk and run brings attention to the unique mental health challenges experienced by historically underserved communities while promoting access to culturally responsive resources and services. Event Highlights - free admission for all walkers and runners. Mental health and wellness resources. Community organizations and nonprofit partners. Health screenings and educational information. Family-friendly activities. Opportunities to connect with local service providers. Vendor marketplace.
