Minis Meetup is a casual, drop-in community painting session held at Anne and Arthur Fine Arts Supply in Hillsborough. If you have a middle schooler or teenager obsessed with Dungeons and Dragons or Warhammer, this is the perfect spot for them to work on their figures. The event is entirely free, but you must bring your own miniatures, brushes, and paints. Because space is limited in the shop, the organizers appreciate it if you register online before showing up. It makes a fantastic Friday afternoon stop because it gets creative kids out of the house to socialize with other local hobbyists. You can grab a coffee nearby in downtown Hillsborough while your older child paints, or sit down and work on a project side by side.
